Project results

  • New construction of a high-tech surgery center as the core of a future medical center that also serves as a milestone in the development of the hospital of the future in Schleswig Holstein
  • Creation of a central surgery area with 8 operating rooms, 12 recovery beds, 6 IMC beds, as well as 4 nursing wards with 36 beds each
  • Special feature: Class A clean rooms (UDAF)
  • Through the use of unidirectional air flow ceilings (UDAF) and the pre-equipment for a digital surgery management system, the most modern operating rooms in Europe were established here.
  • Application of the latest heat recovery technology combined with recooling for refrigeration significantly increases the energy efficiency of the building
  • Conveyor technology as expansion of the existing automated transport system (ATS) (electric suspended monorail) and elevators (1.2 million Euro)
  • Review of existing systems, planning, conceptualization, bidding process, and construction for expansion of ATS as suspended monorail
